Tapes

GPAX SSMD carrier is manufactured in accordance with industry standards such as E.I.A. (Electronic Industry Alliance) standards, and I.E.C. (International Electrotechnical Commission) standards.

The carrier is a conductive polystyrene material compatible with either PSA or heat activated cover tapes.

GPAX SSMD carrier is fully spliceable on both taping equipment and feeders. The robust splicing method does not interfere with equipment operation.

The SSMD carrier can be reused efficiently. This can significantly reduce cost and scrap for the end-user.

Feeders

GPAX SSMD Carrier feeds on all OEM standard tape feeders, without any modifications. SSMD carrier feeds on Hover-Davis tape feeders, without any modifications. The robust carrier tape splicing method also feeds on all tape feeders without any modifications. Standard PSA (Pressure Sensitive Adhesive) and Heat Activated cover tapes are used with GPAX SSMD carrier.

Taping Equipment

GPAX SSMD Carrier can be used on all standard taping machines that accommodate PSA or Heat activated cover tapes. No modification to the taping equipment are needed.
